What is a Proxy?
A proxy server. or a proxy in short, is a server which services the requests of its clients by forwarding requests to other servers.
It works like this, you connect to the proxy server, requesting it to open a web page, which is obviously available from a different server. The proxy server connects to the specified server and requests the web page on behalf of the client.
