Samsung KIES is a software to sync your Samsung mobile phone with your computer. It also helps you upgrade the firmware on your phone easily.
But there is a known bug in Samsung KIES. Once you install it on your computer, its very difficult top uninstall it completely. This issue is specific to Windows computers only, and does not affect KIES on Mac.
