APN Settings For BSNL 3G and MTNL 3G For iPhone & iPad

Do you want to use Internet on your iPad or iPhone 3G/3GS using the MTNL or BSNL 3G service? If yes, then first you need to configure your device with appropriate network settings.

Remember that you can’t use BSNL 3G or MTNL 3G on carried locked or software unlocked devices. It will work only on factory unlocked devices.

Also note that iPad and iPhone supports only micro SIM card, so first you have to to chop down your SIM card to a micro SIM using a SIM cutter or manually.

So, now that you have a factory unlocked device with a BSNL/MTNL micro SIM, here’s the APN settings that you’ll need to run BSNL/MTNL 3G internet on your device.

APN Settings for BSNL 3G on iPad/iPhone

To configure APN settings for BSNL 3G, go to Settings > General > Network. In Network Settings. Open Cellular Data Network, set APN as bsnlnet. Leave the username and password field blank. Now, restart the device.

APN settings for MTNL 3G on iPad/iPhone

To configure APN setings for MTNL 3G, go to Settings > General > Network. In Network Settings. Open Cellular Data Network, set APN as pps3g for prepaid connections and mtnl3g for postpaid connections. Use mtnl as username and mtnl123 as password. Now, restart the device.
