Microsoft Bing has come up with another innovative tactic to promote their search engine, Bing. If you set Bing as the default search engine for your browser, then they will send $3 donation code to you. You can use this donation code to help any public classroom project at DonorsChoose.org.
Bing will donate up to $100,000 under this promotional offer. Its a great initiative from Microsoft, but it would have been great they allowed donation code to be used on any charity. At this time they can be used only at DonorsChoose.org. Also, only 1 donation code will be issues to each user. These donation codes are valid August 31, 2010. So, go ahead and help the kids learn!
Also, what do you think about this cool marketing tactic of Bing? Will it help it snatch some market share from Google? Do let us know by leaving a comment below!

If I set it as my default search engine and then remove it and start using google again then??
Its fine. The offer is to motivate you to try Bing. If you try it and still don’t like it, then feel free to switch the default search engine to Google (or any other search engine of your choice).
