You probably already know that iPad and iPhone devices running any version of iOS 4, are being tracked. However, there is no official news from Apple about this tracking.
Now you can also view your tracking data that is being collected by apple easily. You need to have a the Mac (with Snow Leopard) synced with your iPhone to do this. Go to iPhone tracker and download the iPhone tracker application.
Unzip the downloaded archive and run the application. You will instantly see where you’ve been on a map.
This data is stored on your computer and your iPhone/iPad and is not sent to apple. Nobody knows why the iPhone and iPad devices are being tracked and the data is being collected. Probably apple will use this data in future.
