Some time ago I posted about two tools that help you to turn off laptop’s monitor without affecting any running program. Turn Off LCD is another similar tool that helps you to turn off Laptop’s LCD monitor screen in single click.
You can use it to switch off the laptop’s monitor without any affect on the running programs. No matter if you are listening to music or running a slide show (with laptop connected to projector), you can use this tool easily.
To start using this tool, just download it, and extract it. You will get a small executable file. To turn off the laptop’s monitor, just double click on it. To start the monitor again, just hit any key on your keypad or move your finger over touch pad.
It works fine on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. A great battery life saver, Turn Off LCD is really useful.
