I got the invitation for The New Orkut instantly as I run a few websites based on Orkut. But after playing with the new interface for few hours, I got nostalgic about our good old plain version of Orkut. I started looking for way to switch back to the older version of the Orkut, and fortunately it was really easy.
How To Get the Older Version Back in The New Orkut
Just look for a link in the top right corner of the new orkut interface that says, older version,
Click on this link and you’ll be back into the old Orkut world.
To switch back to the new version simply click on the link that says, try the new orkut, in the top navigation bar.
So which version of Orkut is better, the old one or the new one? Waiting for your comments…

i hv created a new id in orkut.. i want old version … i tried my level best for that but its not coming there’s no option of old version there .. .. pls sumbody help … wat to do ????

For new accounts, the option to switch to old Orkut is not available.

You can’t switch back to old orkut if you are a new user.

What is the oldest version? There are only two version I think, the older one, and the newer one. The newer version is constantly evolving though.
You need to use some analytics programs like Google analytics to check the visitor stats for your site.
