Don’t buy a Vista Powered Computer or Laptop Before 26th June

The new operating system from Microsoft, Windows 7, is a buzzword these days. With RC1 (release candidate 1) already launched, Windows 7 is all set to be released on October 22nd this year.
If you are planning to buy a computer or laptop with Vista, then wait until 26th June. Because, according to a leaked memo from Bestbuy, anyone who’ll purchase a computer or laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium or higher versions (Windows Vista Business and Ultimate) will be able to upgrade to Windows 7 free of cost. This offer will be available only from 26th June onwards, so its worth waiting until then because Windows 7 is much better than Windows Vista, and you’d like to upgrade to it anyway.
Note that if you are planning to buy Dell laptops without upgrading the OS, then you can do so because it comes with Windows Vista Home Basic. This offer will not be available for this version of Windows Vista.
Enjoy!
