You probably already know how to use proxies to open any blocked website.
Its a great time saver to configure Internet Explorer to always use a specified proxy. This helps you save time as you don’t have to visit the proxy server’s website again and again anytime you want to open a blocked site.
To configure internet explorer to always use a proxy, you should first have the IP address of the proxy server that you want to use. Check this tutorial to learn how to get the IP address from the host name, that is website name easily.
Now open IE and go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections and click on the Lan Settings button(see image).
In the dialog that opens, check use proxy server for your Lan and enter the IP address of the proxy server that you determined above.
Press OK. That’s it. Now Internet Explorer will always use the specified proxy every time it connects to web.
